Booking & Payment

• Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your event date and time.

• Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed until payment has been received.

• Event dates WILL NOT be held without payment in full.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made at least 10 days (2 weeks) prior to the event date will receive a full refund.

• Cancellations made less than 10 days before the event are not eligible for a refund.

• No refunds will be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, or reductions in guest count after booking.

• In the event of severe weather or circumstances requiring studio closure, guests will be offered the option to reschedule.

Party Setup & Cleanup

• Studio staff will handle standard setup and cleanup of the party area.

• Hosts may enter the studio up to 30 minutes ahead of the event to set-up an food, decorations, etc.

• Guests are responsible for removing all personal belongings, decorations, gifts, and food items at the conclusion of the event.

• Excessive messes, damage, or cleanup beyond normal party use may result in additional fees.

Food & Beverages

• Outside food and beverages are welcome, unless otherwise specified.

• No red, purple, or other heavily dyed beverages, frostings, food are permitted due to the risk of staining studio furniture, flooring, and ceramics.

• Absolutely no alcohol permitted at any time

• No cooking, warming, or food preparation is permitted on-site.

• Pizza is available through the studio for an additional fee if arranged in advance at the time of booking or no later than 48 hours before the event.

Decorations

• Decorations are welcome; however:

  • No helium balloons are permitted inside the studio.

  • No confetti, glitter, smoke machines, open flames (with the exception of cake candles), sparklers, or similar items are allowed.

  • Decorations must not damage walls, furniture, or studio property.

  • No adhesives (tape, glue, push pins, etc.) of any kind may be used on walls or tables

Guest Attendance

• Party packages include the number of guests specified at booking.

• Additional guests and adults beyond the package limit may be subject to additional fees and must be paid for in advance.

• Additional guests not paid for in advance are subject to additional fees the day of in the amount of 30% of the per person charge.

• ALL children attending the event must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

• Proper attire is required in order to participate.  No swimsuits or wet clothing will be permitted at any time.

• There is absolutely no smoking or vaping permitted on the premises.  This is a safety issue due to the use of chemicals and kiln vapors that may be present.

Pottery Pickup

• Glaze painted pottery requires kiln firing and will not be available for immediate pickup.

• Guests will be notified when finished pieces are ready for pickup, typically within 2 weeks of the event.

• The studio is not responsible for items left unclaimed for more than 30 days after notification.

• Acrylic painted pottery pieces for children’s parties are available to take home the same day.

Damage & Conduct

• Party hosts are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their attendees.

• Helen's Ceramic & Art Studio reserves the right to end any event without refund if guests engage in unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior.

• Guests found violating these policies will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.

By booking an event, the host acknowledges and agrees to these policies.
